I've been in the business of fitness for over 16 years, and can safely say that if you aren't moving in a way that is both safe and enjoyable, you won't stick with it. My goal is to provide you with a safe and challenging workout that focuses on getting you building strength and moving better in your body- all without a side of diet culture.
Starting in April of 2020, all of my offerings will be exclusively online.
The most personalized way to work with me is my one on one coaching program- geared specifically with your wants, needs, and goals in mind.
I also offer courses throughout the year that focus on movement and Intuitive Eating. For those seeking a progressive strength and mobility program- that isn't focused on weight loss and uses kettlebells or dumbbells- I have a monthly membership called The Kettlebell Collaborative. And if you're new to KB's and want to learn proper kettlebell technique, I offer a self-paced course called The Blueprint.
Moving better for the long haul.
A monthly membership that includes weekly kettlebell (or dumbbell if that's what you got) workouts and bodyweight mobility sessions. Coaching and support from me as well as a private and online community that lives on this page, and a monthly webinar on a variety of health topics.
A customized training program to gain strength, move well, and feel good in your body now and for life.
This self-paced program will teach you all the foundational kettlebell skills you need- and then some! You'll work through 8 weeks of progressive skill building to increase your strength and mobility- and gain all the confidence to swing kettlebells safely and effectively.
Gretchen's methodical and layered approach, combined with her technical expertise and this-should-be-enjoyable-and-sustainable attitude have been key to my progress and consistency.
Gretchen understands and respects the process, the fear of pain, the questions of motivation, to a degreee I've not experienced before in personal coaching and she works with you where you are.
Gretchen is one of the best teachers I’ve ever met in any context. She is thoroughly professional, deeply knowledgeable, growing in her own knowledge, motivating, engaged, caring.
Building Strength, Mobility, and Durability with progressive, safe, and expertly designed programming- all without obsessing about the scale.
NEXT OPENING: September 2022

I do not accept the egregious and discriminatory treatment of people based on their skin color, gender identification, sexual preference, ethnicity, religion, and socioeconomic status in this country. Understanding what the BIPOC community endures daily- and acknowledging not only my privilege but my role in the systemic nature of oppression- is at the forefront of my learning and unlearning. This is true both professionally and personally. As the sole creator and owner of Coach Gretchen Meyers Fitness, I commit to doing my part to provide an equitable, safe, and anti-racist coaching business. I will not tolerate racism of any kind from potential future employees. I will not tolerate racism from clients. I reserve the right to terminate any training relationship- either in a one on one setting or in a group- if I feel that said client is acting in way that goes against these values.
On my social media pages, I will speak up for racial injustice and talk about the role of white supremacy, especially as it relates to both health and fitness. I may not get it right all the time, and will accept when I'm called out/in. I won't be defensive, and I WILL listen. I will let uncomfortable conversations unfold and be open to working through them. But I will NOT allow hate speech or straight trolling-those comments will be deleted.
For myself, I commit to ongoing anti-racist education- through both my own reading and purchasing courses created by black activists. If/when I hire future employees, this will be a quarterly requirement. As my company grows, I commit to spending a portion of business dollars on black owned businesses- through needed tech services, continuing education in fitness, and the like. I commit to these things on an ongoing basis, and look forward to learning more ways that I can make the change that is so desperately needed in the world.
